Was it not congress that was supposed to protect the people against institutions and Wall Street?
Was it not congress that did nothing to help those that were losing their houses, albeit due to their own stupidity in making deals where their mortgages could go up ridiculous amounts in a year?
When Joes Pizza closed down the street because of the cost of gas running his fledgling new business out of business, why did not congress bail him out?
Why is it that I , who am disabled and suffer the inflation and high gas prices now have to pay to save businesses that do not or were not run themselves ethically and properly?
